Week 1
Class Objectives:
Students will have mastered the material in this project when they can:
- Start and quit Word
- Describe the Word window
- Enter text in a document
- Check spelling as you type
- Open, save and Print a document
- Format text and paragraphs
- Undo and redo commands or actions
- Insert clip art in a document
- Correct errors in a document
- Use Word's Help to answer questions
Project Guidelines
It is important to develop a document that communicates a specific message and this requires careful analysis and planning. Use the following guidelines when planning your flyer:
- Establish why the document is need
- Understand the readers of the document and their individual needs
- Gather information about the topic and decide what to include in the document
- Determine the document design and style that will be most appropriate in delivering your message.
