Creating and Delivering a Presentation

Class Objectives:

Students will have mastered the material in this project when they can:

• Start and customize PowerPoint
• Describe the PowerPoint window
• Select a design template
• Create a title slide and text slides with single- and multi-level bulleted lists using layouts
• Change the font size and font style
• Save a presentation
• End a slide show with a black slide
• View a presentation in slide show view
• Insert and move clip art and change its size
• Animate clip art
• Add an animation scheme and run an animated slide show
• Print a presentation as handouts
• Use the PowerPoint Help

Lecture/Demo

Introduction to PowerPoint and creating a presentation.

Lab/Hands On:

You will be working from PowerPoint Project 2 Chapter. Do the following exercises.

1. Apply Knowledge 1.1 - AC 132
2. PPT Project 2  Lab 1 – Creating a Presentation with Clip and Shapes, PPT 136
3. PPT Project 2 – Lab 2 Creating a Presentation with Photographs Inserted from a File (PPT 137)
4. PPT Project 2 – Lab 3 – Creating a Presentation with Clips and Shapes PPT 140
5. PowerPoint Project 2 - Cases and Places 1, PPT 142
6. PowerPoint Project 2 - Cases and Places 2, PPT 143

Homework:

1. Finish Lab Assignments above.
2. Create your final presentation to give to the class on the last day of class.
